BUST Alert!
The Colorado Yeti had a pretty rough season, and it was topped off by the poor play of the offence. Starting quarterback Logan Nobel looked like a college quarterback, his accuracy was off, and his confidence looked like it was at an all time low. For a team that was rumoured to be a pass first offence, they have a lot of work to do heading into the season.
Another poor performance in this preseason came from wide receiver DJ Law, who was selected 10th overall in the draft. DJ Law who was expected to be a deep threat, did not catch a ball for more then 21 yards, and did not have a game with more then 80 yards. To add to the poor play of DJ Law, he also did not add a single touchdown throughout the four games the Yeti's played.
The Colorado defence also looked average throughout preseason, however this can be attributed to the amount of time the defence was spent to be on the field. With the offences poor play, the defence often found themselves back on the field.
Moving into the regular season the Yeti's offence must improve, or else it is going to hurt the team on both sides off the ball.
