A lot of Brad Pennington's offseason has to do with getting mentally reset before regular play begins again. This doesn't include traditional zen stuff, and primarily consists of just hanging out and not concerning himself with anything. The season itself will be fraught with hardship and struggles; this time is exceptionally important in forgetting the previous season and looking forward to the next. Football, outside of standard workouts and offseason activities, essentially takes a back seat in the face of watching a movie or doing something Brad enjoys while he still has his free time. Keeping a low profile is almost a neccessity when going out in public, but it's all apart of the job. Some traveling may be sprinkled in, but primarily it's enjoying the life that an NSFL player has the opportunity to experience. Not any job allows someone the ability to work for a few months in a year and then spend the rest of the time preparing to play a few games.
