It's the same off season regimen for Cameron Taylor every year. And people think it's crazy, but coming off a NSFL Ultimus trophy victory, clearly it does some good. Every off season, Cameron Taylor heads to his home region in Canada and start to play hockey. There's tons of research and support for cross-sport training in young athletes and Cameron Taylor is a product of that type of training. Hockey provides training in lower body strength, game processing, and hand-eye coordination, all of which have contributed to his game as the anchor in the Wraiths secondary. So he goes down and does some skating camps to train, along with the classic weight room sessions and field work, but then in the middle of June, he heads down too his alma mater University of Michigan to do the spring training camp with the varsity teams. It's a great training experience and Taylor gets to stay in contact with the sport he loves and the coaches that shaped his football career. 170
