If you're talking about this logo, then yes, using the mountain etc. around the Colorado C would likely be an infringement. Simply using the Colorado C, which is public domain, is not. So please, stop spouting nonsense.

Also, if you're so concerned about originality in the leauge, why don't you:

A) Create and pitch some logos yourself

B) Stop stealing GFX

A) Enigmatic submitted one and it fell on deaf ears. For the amount of work and how quickly it was thrown away I don't know if it's worth it.
