For Ty Justice, his days in the DSFL were some of the most enlightening, stressful days of his career.
The first time he has ever had to move from his family was to play with the San Antonio Marshals, an adjustment he was anticipating but it still took a fair amount of time to get used to. Getting used to a much bigger stage than in college, media constantly barking down your throat, much higher pressure in need to win games, you name it. There comes a lot of pressure with being in a competitive team in the DSFL and everyone has to learn how to handle it in their own way.
His days in the DSFL weren't all filled with negativity however, for the wins felt that much sweeter and the pay offs of hard work felt that much better. People around the city knew your name, they'd congratulate you on the street, they'd buy you a drink at the bar... It really felt like San Antonio was a Marshals town. Sure, Ty Justice might miss it from time to time now that he's out and in San Jose with the big league team, but the only thing that feels better than winning a game in the DSFL is winning a game in the NSFL.
