Oof, that hurts. I still put the guy in contention for league MVP, it's not like I'm saying he's terrible. In my opinion, when a QB throws two touchdowns to the other team in a one-score game, that result falls on his shoulders. He also threw a third pick that put the Marshals on the Portland 31 yard line, which they converted for a TD - that's 21 out of 31 points off of Armstrong turnovers. You can play well for most of a game AND blow the game on a couple plays, they aren't mutually exclusive.
Who else would you blame? The defense that held San Antonio to their lowest yardage total of the season? The running backs that gashed SA for 120 yards in the first half before Amstrong threw two pick-sixes?
