(S1) - Weekend PT #3 - Coach Speak

It's no secret that I have a great relationship with our current GM and head coach, Shaka. He's a guy that I've looked up to for several years now and I'm blessed to be playing under his tutelidge. His vision for the game and knowledge is unmatched by anyone I've ever encountered. As a kid growing up I heard a lot of stories about him and how his system worked. I always wished that my coaches would be like him. Every step of the way it was lacking something in the coaching department, until I got to Orange County and Shaka was on the staff. The day he was named to his current position was a great day for both of us as I knew we would be a great fit together. The team has clicked since he's been in control, and it's no coincidence. He cares so deeply about each of his players, it's really something I admire. He takes the time to make you feel like you're the only guy on the team. He has the ability to empathize and really make you feel like he understands where you're coming from. He lays out a plan and leads by example. If he has to give you bad news, then he does so in a succinct fashion and can back it up with data and facts. He's the perfect leader.
