I’m a big fan of 1 and 4 - I feel like 1 would help reduce HO work when hall of fame voting comes around (though I suppose they’d have to verify a player’s claims). Glad to see 4 pass, though I might be biased as a receiving back... the requirements about safety vs cornerback are really nice though

My biggest issue with #1 is this, I'm going to use Ballerstorm as an example.

Ballerstorm went Inactive during his tenure here, but his player was 100% deserving of Hall of Fame. So, his player should not have gotten into the Hall of Fame because he went Inactive? Silly.

Same with people who could have had medical issues / emergencies. Just because someone disappears, but their players had such an amazing career doesn't mean they don't deserve Hall of Fame.
