Here is my blockbuster deadline deal:
The Yellowknife Wraiths request permission from the OC Otters to speak to Quarterback Bercovici. Permission was granted and the Wraiths have a long discussion with Bercovici about being traded to them and changing positions for a high paying contract. The trade would be as follows:
To Yellowknife:
Bercovici
To Otters:
S2 1st round pick
Bercovici would then sign a 2 season contract with the Wraiths as follows:
S2: 8m
S3: 6m
Bercovici would change positions to RB and replace Jack Stats as the 2nd option to run the ball. Bercovici wants to be part of the offense side of the ball, helping the team win on a regular basis and he has not enjoyed riding the bench in Orange County. With the option to get a huge payday and move to a position where he can make an impact, Berc would waive his no trade clause and accept the extension offered by the Wraiths. The Wraiths had come into the season thinking they had a great 1/2 punch at running back with Stats and Nuck, but now with Stats' lack of training for the last few weeks, they can fill the hole left by him with Berc.
