So the Wraiths are in an interesting position. They aren't bad, but they aren't the best. They are squarely in the middle of the pack so they really could go either way, and in order to surpass the word count I'm gonna play into both sides of the equation here.
Let's talk about playing for the future. There are a lot of good offensive lineman available in the season two draft, and with the way the Wraiths are playing on the offensive side of the ball, adding a complete line might help. Well, if we're looking towards the draft then we need some draft picks. The wraiths have made a few defensive line additions in the past couple of weeks, and with Jason Spearhead becoming inactive but still a string player in his own right, I think there is a team willing to take on the short term surge of Spearhead production to win this season. I think that team is the Orange County Otters who have a very impressive secondary as well as a strong d-line, but could have a ferocious one by adding in Spearhead.
The trade is Spearhead for a 2nd rounder.
What if the Wraiths wanted to create a surge for the playoffs? Well I think it's definitely more than possible and one key player we could use would be Daniel Robichaux of the San Jose SabreCats. He hasn't been very active lately but he is under contract for three years, and having another human Olineman with around 80 TPE is definitely better than any robot. Having a four human line will help the offense in every way and could be enough of a boost to get the Wraiths to the playoffs.
The trade is Robichaux for a 2nd rounder.
