The Colorado Yeti trade their first pick in the Season 2 draft to the San Jose Sabercats for OL Tim Tebow and OL Daniel Robicheaux. The Sabercats decide to sell before the trade deadline for future assets as their Season 1 playoff odds are a longshot. Tebow and Robicheaux have not updated in the past two weeks, so if they remain inactive they will be of little use to the Sabercats going forward. They are both rated 69 overall, which would make them tied for the Yeti’s second best OL players. The Yeti are currently one of the league’s top teams and are looking to make a push for a championship this year. Offensive line is probably the Yeti’s weakest position group, as they only have 2 of their 5 spots filled by user players. Adding two more quality starers on the offensive line would make the Yeti favorites for this season’s championship. The Sabercats can offload two players who will likely not be of much use this time next year in exchange for a top prospect who will help them rebuild in the future. The Yeti pick up two players who will probably not be of much use after this season but will help them push for a championship now. Also, if one of the players becomes active again, the Yeti gain another user offensive lineman for the future. The Sabercats appear to be headed toward rebuilding while the Yeti are looking toward a championship, but both could benefit from this trade.
