Otters @ Outlaws
This is a match-up where I think all the odds are stacked against the Otters. It is not helped by the fact that the Otters sent away a few offensive pieces to Baltimore at the trade deadline. They might become a team feared in the future, but that meant that they lost weapons that they could have used in this match-up. Both teams have had stellar play from their defense this season, which actually surprised most people about Arizona. Given that the defenses will most likely cancel each other out, the deciding factor will be on offense. Outlaws quarterback Andrew Reese has shown no signs of age slowing him down, leading the league in passing yards and an overall potent passing offense. With Vinny Valentine, Landers and Jammerson Irving he has a lot of choices who to throw to and add in dual threat running back Slim Shady who has almost 1500 all purpose yards, this is an offense that will score points and have scored the most throughout the regular season. The Otters will have to hope that the league's best running back, Apollo Reed is able to step up his game to a whole new level and have contributions from wide receiver Hugh Mongo and tight end Jonny Blaze to stand any chance of keeping up with the Outlaws. In the end I feel like the Otters defense will struggle to keep the Outlaws from scoring points and their offense will struggle to keep up. This is in addition to the fact, that the game is player in Arizona which means that this will be a blow-out for the Outlaws. 31-10 for the Outlaws
2) Underdog
Written: Write about one of the away teams in any matchup and explain why they can win. Must be completed before the sim
It feels weird to talk about the Baltimore Hawks as an underdog in this match-up, but they are playing away from their feared Hawk’s nest and have the number one seed Yellowknife Wraiths as their opponent. If you were to tell me the Baltimore team that started the season would be in this match-up, I would have had a hard time making the argument for them, but oh boy are things different now. With their huge moves they made at the trade deadline, their offense has gotten a lot scarier. With the additions of superstar wide receiver Sunnycursed and high calibre running Vander Jones, they’re offense has been operating on a whole different level and it shows as they are 3-1 since the trade deadline. I think there will be two key elements that will contribute to Baltimore being able to upset the Wraiths. The first is that the Wraiths rely too heavily on star quarterback Cooter Bigsby and their main running back, Jerrod Canton is utilized more as a receiver. This leaves them without a consistent running game and against such a potent attack they need to be able to chew the clock in key situations. The second element is just the overall level of the Baltimore offense. With a strong duo in the backfield and three different and very strong receivers to cover, the Wraiths will not be able to stop them all. This will enable Baltimore to score enough points and come out victorious
12) Sit-down with a star
Written: Interview a player from a team that is not your own that is in the playoffs! You must ask them four questions and at least three must relate to the league in some way

1) How do you think your first season went, what were the high and low points?
I think it went great, way better than I honestly expected. From what I was told before creating my player, i would struggle a lot because of the low ratings, but i got really excited when I started seeing that i could make plays and throw some TDs (and INTs as well lol). It all came together Week 13, when I had an awful game but we still won, meaning we got home field advantage for the playoffs. The low point had to be our last game of the season, where we had an unexpected loss vs PB and i could not beat Armstrong's Passing TD record.
2) Do you think the Pythons will be able to win the Ultimini? If not, who would you rather win it?
Reaching the playoffs as #1 seed, after the regular season we had, there's no way not to consider us the favourites to win it. But, as we saw in week 14, even if a team is heavily on top on paper, it can still lose. And if we have to lose, I hope KC goes all the way and gets the Ultimini for the NFC North.
3) With the draft approaching, where do you see yourself going and if you could choose a landing spot, where would you go?
It is hard for me to have the full idea because I'm probably playing the position that no team needs. So I believe the draft will see me fall down the order as teams will go for players that may solve their immediate needs. But I'm about to reach 250 TPE and I'm counting on staying on the DSFL another season or 2 banking TPE.
4) The S18 class has been a big one, who do you think will be the big stars in the future and who have been the best ones to hang out with?
I mean, I have a lot of fun in discord, because there's a lot of players with unbelievable potential. I'm not gonna name anyone in particular, but I honestly hope we can keep being active and having fun on the game.
