3) All about the QBs:

11) Trades:
Wow, what a season it has been. Some big moves and trades were made this season that not only had a huge effect on the outcome of the season, but they will also affect the teams involved for several seasons going forward. Possibly the biggest trade that happened during the season was between none other than the two Ultimus contenders themselves, when the Baltimore Hawks traded with the Orange County Otters for Sunnycursed. This was a huge move that impacted every NSFL team in some way or another. The Hawks were in win-now mode, and they showed that by committing to this big of a trade. The Otters, realizing the opportunity and value involved in a Sunnycursed trade, made the decision to trade him. This moved gave the Hawks just the playmaker they needed to make it back to the Ultimus, and it allowed the Otters to begin building around their young and extremely talented offense. Although, at the time of the trade, I don't think either team realized they would be in the situation they're currently in, up against each other in the Ultimus. Now, we will figure out if the win-now move will actually pay off for the Hawks in the end, or if the Otters will come out on top on both ends of the trade. This trade will definitely have an impact on the Ultimus, but it's up to the Otters defense how big that impact will be.

16) Unsung Hero:
This will be a little tough to do, but I'm going to argue for a QB here. I know it's kind of hard for a quarterback to really be underrated or "unsung", but I feel like Franklin Armstrong definitely fits the description. When the Otters traded away Sunnycursed in the middle of the season, I don't think anyone expected them to make it as far as they did, let alone win it all and bring another trophy to Orange County. One of the biggest factors in this huge upset victory (a win that was predicted to have less than a 20% of actually happening) was rookie QB Franklin Armstrong. Throughout the playoffs, Armstrong had a 6-0 touchdown to interception ratio. Not only that, he also started playing out of his comfort zone, as the Otters focused more on the run game with a spread scheme. Armstrong was even the overall leading rusher in the Ultimus! His biggest mistake was a fumble in the Ultimus that the Hawks turned into a quick four and out. For a QB that struggled heavily with turnovers during the regular season, this was a huge improvement, and it was due to this that the Otters were able to claim their 6th Ultimus trophy. Even as a QB, his performance will probably go somewhat unnoticed, but his performance was huge for the team and is most likely one of the biggest regular season to playoff improvements in league history.
