The Colorado Yeti approach the trade deadline with one goal in mind - moving a runningback for a player at a position of weakness. The young runningbacks of the Yeti are among the very best in the league but the touches the players get are limited due to having to share the rock so often. The group of Boss Tweed, Kieran O'Connell, and Luke Tiernan would look like a three headed terror to most teams, but having to share the ball between all three so often breeds inconsistency among the group.
So the Yeti are no looking to make a trade that benefits their future plans and gets one of the three runningbacks into a more beneficial situation. One that could be mutually beneficial for both teams involved would be one of the trio of Tweed, O'Connell, and Tiernan and Linebacker Ricky Mills to the Baltimore Hawks in exchange for Stephen Harrison. Adding another solid linebacker to the Yeti while immediately having a high level runningback step in and become the starter for the Hawks. Mills would fill the hole left by the departure of Harrison and the Yeti would immediately be able to field a featureback while having a change of pace back that would make their appearance for big gains.
receive Stephen Harrison.
