Ideally, my fantasy team would involve players I know something about. Having just re-joined the league, I see a lot of names I don't know, I see a kicker's agent now representing the league MVP quarterback and I can't help but think... the fuck? Having a complete dearth of understanding how NSFL fantasy works, I'd assume defensive players are actually involved in it, and that would make me just want to focus on them first. People like to draft the flashy point scoring players initially, so you could probably scoop up some super high value picks in that manner. Following that you gotta just try and scoop up whatever value you can find at receiver and take whichever quarterback and halfback remaining. All in all, I find the best thing I like to do for fantasy football though, is to try and ensure I take players I actually want to keep tabs on. That way I will know how they are doing and know whether to drop them or not. Also this method gives me extra incentive to keep tabs on those individuals. Lastly, the key thing to do is just do your research. If you don't have a single clue how many points somebody is projected to earn, you're going to lose out on a lot of value in the draft by sheer ignorance and you'll lose. And if you're going to lose, why even play?
