The Colorado Yeti are in a weird spot. We are pretty good at everything, but not the best at anything. That makes it difficult to choose what to try to improve with a trade. I think the obvious thing to do would be to try to move one of our running backs for some added depth elsewhere, but I don’t think teams have enough need at RB to get us a decent return on any of them. If I were to pick one thing I’d like to add, it would be another offensive lineman. We could use a little more protection for Noble, and a little more running room for our backs.
My first choice would have to be Angus Winchester. He was my top pick among O-linemen based off name alone. Outside of his name, he has built a very good lineman, and is very active. The problem with this is, his value is too high to actually consider getting. Good thing that doesn’t matter.
I’d give Orange County our first round pick in the S2 draft, and our second round pick in the S3 draft for Winchester. I think this isn’t unreasonable, given the quality of players likely to be available in the first round of the S2 draft, for a player of Winchester’s caliber. Most importantly, it allows us to add some needed help to the inside of our offensive line.
