So IRL I'm an offensive line coach and an Offensive coordinator so I love running the football. Today's pass happy Offence arent exciting to watch. When it comes to November and crappy weather the run game is the way to go. Philadelphia has the best RB in the league with Torenson. Feed him the ball. A RB should be having 25-30 rushing attempts a game when the weather hits below -13 C, statistically a team with a heavy run game has a more efficient QB. The run game sets up everything else, and without a run game you're just playing catch and the turnover rate is even higher. Now as a defense you need to buckle down. Corners need to play more aggressively and linebackers have to be giant walls. With it becoming a more physical game injuries go up. So back ups have to be ready to go. Fall time is the best time for hard physical running football. Easily the best type of football out there. Offensively Torenson is great cold weather running game, but defensively look no further than Thudd Kassel. He is the old school hit first ask later type of Linebacker. The dude wears a neck pad. You cannot trust linebackers who wear neck pads because they have no regard for their lives so they're obviously not going to care about yours.
