The Colorado Yeti's week 4 loss at home to the Yellowknife Wraiths was a disappointment in every sense of the word. First of all, it was the Yeti's first loss of the season after 3 fairly convincing wins. It would mean the Yeti could be 6-1 right now instead of 5-2, and Colorado could have a step up on the opponent - and rival - in the NSFC standings. Second, the score was certainly a disappointment. A 6 point loss at home? 33-27? While having one of the most pathetically timed fourth quarter punts in NSFL history directly after the Yeti's owner (infinitempg) had released an article documenting and analyzing pathetic punts? Ironic... and sad. Let's not forget that the Yeti actually blew a 27-19 lead in the fourth quarter. Big big sad
Third, there's the case of Ashley Owens' individual performance in that game. 22 rushes for 53 yards is just 2.4 yards per carry... he did notch a rushing touchdown, but still. And then, he also had a career low 3 receptions in the game, amounting to just 21 yards (and another touchdown somehow though). So all in all, week 4 was a disappointment for Owens for sure. Thankfully it seems the Yeti are getting back on track now.
