The part your missing is it's the responsibility of the Otters to trade for him and pay fair value if he was chosen elseware. They aren't going to get him in the fourth round per say, so in the situation you presented, getting friends to sign up, it wouldn't quite work because you don't have five first round picks to take five o lineman who are friends. Clegane isn't going to fall out of the first round and be a huge steal because of this.
