Sooooo much this. Taylor had an unbelievable and was easily the best defensive back playing at defensive back in the league (as a matter of fact it is in the top 10 most PDs in a season in league history) and he won't get a nod for DBotY because of someone playing at LB.
We had a similar yet different scenario last year when Jensen who played mostly at S but occasionaly at CB had one of the greatest seasons in DB history (if not the) and you still had the moaners out that D'Attoria should've won it when he literally lined up all season in the meta position mentioned above.
Being honest I dont think my posts or re-posts will even change anything as generally we don't want to change anything if it anyway inhibits our teams, even if it definetly aids the league and its players ten or even a hundred fold.
