I was probably one of the most vocal users during that time and my opinion is well known for those who read threads about the subject.
Some things might have been dealt with differently for sure. Bex knows what she did and said and if she really is sorry about it, good. Not that it solves anything, but at least she saw what she did was wrong and should not have happened.
My problem with her staying as Commish is the lack of trust i feel after knowing what she did. And i honestly don't like that, as of now, i get the impression that everyone that disagrees with the decision to keep her is seen as the "bad guy". This might be a mistake i'm making analyzing all this, and i hope it is, but everyone who wanted her to continue tries to downplay what she said as "venting" or "just some private talks with friends". I have "private talks" with users of this game and never once said a single thing as bad as what she said. She definitely "vents" in a strange aggressive way to say the least.
I obviously can't go into what was discussed between HO and why the decisions were made on punishments. Adam for example said that they felt it was a fair punishment. Well, i don't agree, and while my opinion does not count as others, i still have that choice.
But, credit where it's due. I would like to thank HO publicly for at least putting it to a vote. My team voted to remove her, but if the majority felt otherwise, we just have to accept that and move on, even if in disagreement. i have no problem criticizing stuff, but i can also praise when i feel the right decision was made.
I hope Bex is working on regaining the trust of those who lost it because of all this. And if the choice was made that she should continue, i am all aboard with that, hoping she changed her ways on stuff like this.
