I was going to try my hardest to reach out and discover a guy who may not be considered top 50 and give my best argument for him. However, I don't know the league very well as of right now, so that probably would not have been a productive use of my time. Instead I want to talk about Chris Orosz, quarterback of the Yellowknife Wraiths. Orosz did not post the best overall numbers among the quarterbacks in the league but he was one of the better ones going. Finishing second in yards with 2,858 and third in touchdowns with 14 he helped lead Yellowknife into the playoffs. He certainly had a lot of help with top wide received Josh Garden on his team but at the same time you could make the argument that he did well to utilize a great talent to it's fullest. The biggest key that jumps out about Orosz to me is his completion percentage. He completed 57.8% of his passes, good for third, in the most amount of pass attempts. That shows that he had good poise in the pocket and wasn't out there just throwing it willy nilly. He also had the highest quarterback rating at 77.6 among qualifying players. Do I think he is the most talented quarterback in the league? Not necessarily but I do think he had one of the better and most efficient seasons which should easily place him in the top 50 players of this league.
