One player that definitely deserves to be in the top 50 is Arizona Outlaws defensive back Isaiah Rashad. The safety that has been lining up at cornerback this season has dominated opponents and been a leader on the defense. Rashad leads all other players with 10 interceptions, the next highest player only has 5 interceptions. Fans that have followed the Outlaws know that Rashad shows up on the biggest stages too. In his four regular season games versus the rival Orange County Otters, Rashad intercepted seven passes and defended an additional seven passes. When the Outlaws defeated the Otters in the playoffs, Rashad was still a force defensively, recording five tackles and defending three passes. When compared to other defensive backs he stacks as one of the best. Among DBs, he is 11th in tackles with 59. As previously mentioned he has twice as many interceptions than any other player. He has also broken up more pass plays than any other player with 22, the next highest is 18. In a league where passing the ball successfully is such an important facet, defending the pass becomes just as important. There is not a better defender against the pass in this league than Isaiah Rashad, and that is why he is a top 50 player.
