I have 50 Hands for most of the season but I only have one Interception, but I think my hands helped me force a lot of fumbles (I'm tied for first in the Linebacker position). Intelligence is probably the key to INTs but I'd wouldn't invest in it right away, I like yours right were it is for now. (It's higher than my own)
What you said by "chasing" is really funny to me because that is my first advice to you. Speed, speed is King in this Sim. I have mine at 80 for a reason, it's really good. I'm happy you have it high but you should consider getting it higher or even max as quickly as possible.
Also, lastly about Strength and tackling, since we play LB we do need those things. Just take one high and you can basically leave the other. It should be fine in this Sim, I took my own strength to 70 then brought tackling to 60. I still had 10th most tackles this season.
Anyways totally your choice on how you build, just excited to see another coverage guy, hope my advice helps in someway.
I was thinking the same thing on Intelligence and interceptions. The goal is a combo of hands, speed and intelligence to get ints and run them back for TDs. The hands need a LOT of work for that, but are really cheap to raise until 50, which is probably good enough for my rookie year.
I absolutely will raise speed. I want mine high enough to cover scat backs.
Strength and tackling will improve, but very slowly my rookie year. I want to be king of the passing downs before I start rounding out. And it did help, would not have thought about hands working towards forcing fumbles.
