The top 50 players in a league is usually filled with all the stars from all the teams. However, there are some players that can make their way there without having as much light shone unto them. This is the case for Alexandre LeClair, who was the clear number 2 receiver on the Wraiths. He was however clearly among the best secondary receivers in the league, with 754 yds. received (9th in league) with an average of 14yds run per pass (7th in league) despite received a significantly lesser number of passes from his QB at 54 (12th in league). His 4 TDs (Tied 6th in league) show that he can contribute to the score sheet as well.
LeClair also showed solid kick & punt return skills with 586 yds. gained from kick returns (4th in league) and another 210yds. from punt returns (6th in league). His average returns were, once again, not the highest, but near the top with an average return of 17.8yds. for kicks (6th in league) and 8.1yds. for punts (5th in league).

As a route runner, LeClair will never be the flashy, superstar player that the fans & analysts all talk about but on the game side of things, he is one of the most constant & reliable players on the field on any game day. And for all the talk about comparing him to lead receiver Josh Garden; Garden ran a total of 1380yds. this season (received yds + kick return yds, + punt return yds). LeClair ran a total of 1550yds. Although not split the same way, this is a significant number that should not be dismissed.

And with LeClair going to the Las Vegas Legion expansion team for next season, all eyes will be on him to continue to show consistency. He has a real chance to become the lead receiver in Vegas and improve on all his numbers. This is why we believe that Alexandre LeClair belongs in the top 50 players of today.
