I think the Tijuana Luchadores are poised to make a lot of noise in the DSFL playoffs after not making the postseason last year. As of this very moment the Lucha own the league's best offense, scoring the most points and usually doing it in style. Featuring both a potent passing game to go along with a deadly run game, the Tijuana Luchadores lately have been scoring points in bunches. And that is even ignoring their fantastic kicking game, with the Lucadores kicker at the top of the league for points scored, pretty impressive.

Not only that, the Luchadores are extremely solid on defense, ranking in the top half of the league for points against. Their strength is definitely the safeties in the backfield, but I think the linebacking and defensive line groups could be huge for Tijuana in the playoffs. Especially when it comes to stopping the premier running backs in the DSFL, which probably will decide playoff dominance this year.

I don't expect Slothlisberger to be a huge contributor to the box score points. Although he owns the DSFL's top completion percentage, he lags behind in Touchdown throws because of the two QB system not giving him many red zone looks. Despite that, the high completion percentage and ability to throw the ball much farther than his counterpart should help set the Lucha up for points! Hopefully we can make some noise this season.
