Sad as it is to say, I don’t think there’s much hope left for the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. Oh how the mighty have fallen. With 4 games left to go, all we can really go for is a positive record. We’ve beaten Kansas City, last time against London was close, as was Norfolk. The Grey Ducks will be a challenge again, but I believe that by the end of the regular season, the Buccaneers will hold a positive record and out heads up high. Though a run at the Ultimini is essentially dead, the team’s spirit is not. We’ll give it our all until all is said and done.
As for what I see happening in the future, I really see no other outcome other than a run by Tijuana. They’ll win at least 3, if not all 4 of their remaining games, and will most likely tear through the playoffs as well. I personally think that they can go all the way, as they’ve proven that they can beat any teams that they’ve lost to previously. Minnesota looks good, but they’ve been beaten by the Luchadores, and I don’t think that’s going to change in the post season. I predict an Ultimini win for Tijuana. At least the trophy is in-conference.
