Alright well its always a party when the Yeti are involved right? I don't think I'd be able to write about this PT without talking about my own team if we were in the playoffs, so that's where my mind immediately went. That being said, the Yeti have had a somewhat strange season and its tough to know how things are going to turn out in the end. First of all the Yeti started the season 5-0. Why is that significant? Well, in the history of the NSFL, 13 teams have started the season 5-0. 11 of the 13 of them made the Ultimus. And those 11 went 8-3 in the big game. Those were stats that I figured out when we were at 5-0....right before we lost 5 of our next 6 games. That skid ended up costing us HFA in the conference championship. Furthermore, that skid was exceedingly rare to see when I looked back at in anals of NSFL history. So, although we have locked in a playoff spot with one more game to go, our chances of making the Ultimus significantly decreased when we lost HFA in the conference championship to the Wraiths. Thus, my prediction is that the Yeti become only the third team in NSFL history to start a season 5-0 and miss the big game. Prove me wrong Yeti.
