(S22) - PT4 - Road to Glory

Favorites: Yellowknife Wraiths. After a road loss to Colorado in week 1, Yellowknife has looked nearly unstoppable. They have only lost once since then, a 2 point loss at home to New Orleans. Over the last three weeks, the Wraiths have won by an average of 42 points, despite playing two of those games on the road. Mervin Leonard, Maurice Virtanen, and rookie Johnny Hellzapoppin are having great seasons on defense, and the trio of Cooter Bigsby, Mathias Hanyadi, and Nate Swift has looked unstoppable. Given that they will likely have home-field advantage throughout the postseason, they have to be the favorite.

My squad, the Second Line, has a tough journey ahead. I hope to continue to help them win games, but we have a very tough conference and will need to win three road games in a row to win the Ultimus. If we beat Honolulu tomorrow, we will go on the road in the WC round to either the surprising San Jose who we have already beaten twice the season, or the Austin Copperheads, who have beaten us twice on this insane 6 game winning streak which has pulled them from the brink into playoff contention. A victory there will send us to Orange County where NOLA has had success in recent years. I am hoping I can continue to make tackles and rush the passer from my SS and put my team over the top and into the Ultimus for the second straight season.
