HeHateMe PickSix will not be sobbing on his couch this off season. We came close to a playoff run and ultimately fell short. PickSix learned for the first time in his career that as a team player who doesn't care about personal stats, success can be obtained. The Sabercats are poised for a deep window opening shortly and the team is very very young now with several of the old vets retiring.
The Sabercats were underdogs all year and we surprised a lot of people in the league with our strong finish. We were there till the very final game and beat OCO twice on the year as well. Something no team did this year. Spirits are high in the SJS locker room and we will look forward to the new year to see if we take a step back with a rookie QB or if we can continue our strong defensive play and make a push even faster that we thought.
The cats will meow again and the league will be put on notice. Next year might not be our year, the year after that might not be our year. But we are on the rise as other teams are falling and we are poised to have a deep run within the next few years.
