I pressed for time for this point task, but I’ll be writing about Myrtle Beaches' disappointing season and reflecting on my time there as a whole. Last season we had a perfect storm of send downs and an amazing draft. From the jump we all thought we were the best team and had the infamous myrtle beach chip on the perpetual shoulder. We had the Myrtle Beach bad boys thing going for a bit. Everything went perfect, the last week of the season we need all the chips to fall in the right place to get home field and they did. From there we cruised to an Ultimini. Such a wild and fun ride. This season was the polar opposite. We still had a good group of send downs and impressive draft haul. We were still poised to be the favorites to win. We had the same chip but everything went wrong. We lost every close game. Lost games we should have won. Costly turnovers cost us games, but still, in the last week of the season we had a chance to make the dance. We took care of business at Minnesota and just needed a win at Norfolk. Long story short 2 pick sixes and we still forced overtime where we lost. A wild and fun ride. I’ll always remember my time in Myrtle Beach.
