Totally understand your rationale. My thought was that while it may not be an ideal solution to solve problems, it would at least formalize the process for appeal. That end goal could be met in a lot of other ways, but an appeal thread was just the first thing that came to mind. This does assume that the team is willing to accept appeals on payouts, though, which I suppose it isn't obligated to do. I appreciate your response and perspective.
