Not what I’m saying, but I don’t think it’d be a crime to take those things into account. There’s usually a little more leeway shown to, for example, New User A who writes a backstory light on league content because they’re new and they need money to afford to improve their player. I think there was less league content in the post in question than many of those linked, and I think ‘league characters play a tabletop game’ is far more removed from ‘league characters do things related to their football career’ and that it’s fair to take that into account. I’d also disagree with the notion that more divorced from football necessarily makes it more creative or that creativity should be one of the more important factors when grading an NSFL media piece.

I don’t think it’s absurd to scrutinise longer pieces more, either.

Per the FAQ: “ A: Yes. As long as it's somewhat league-related, your media will be accepted and graded. Writing about what your player does between games or his personality in the locker room for example would work.”

I fail to see how a media piece about them playing DND presumably between games given they’re all football players plus a piece that develops the characters’ personalities (which would then translate to the LR) doesn’t fall under the above definition
