Rookies and new players alike probably wonder why the whole Chicago Butchers locker room never says “game day” every time we have a game. Instead, we say “GAME 24 HOUR PERIOD” to remind everyone that we’re going to play a league game. Well, the answer why is simply because the Butchers have a very diverse locker room in regards to where people are from. Most live in North America but the Butchers also have @”IthicaHawk” who lives in Great Britain and @”indonesianhusker” who lives in Indonesia. Since it would not be inclusive if the team says game day even though it is actually the next day for them, @”halfeatenonionbagel” decided to change it to “game 24 hour period.” This takes into consideration current and future players that leave outside North America’s timezone. Funny story, rookie @”Maglubiyet” said to everyone “It’s Gameday” and @”TheCC” called him out for not including those living outside North America. I proceeded to call out CC as a bully to the rookie, even though he did for me who does not live in North America lol.
The Butchers locker room also has some sort of fascination with lawn mowing for some unknown reason. I suspect it is because the team is actually filled with Boomers who like to have a nice, freshly cut lawn that they can yell at kids to get off of. I wonder who has the lawn in our locker room? Probably something worth asking in the locker room.
