Looking over the Tijuana Luchadores, there are a couple of standouts that could be considered in the running for some positional awards. As usual, the most important thing here is QBotY and the Luchadores have themselves a contender. Now that we are only halfway through the season, we can see that Mike Boss Jr. is clearly trending upward. While he may not have the most touchdown passes but does have the most interceptions, don't let that dissuade you from supporting him as the best QB in the entire DSFL. While Boss surely isn't the best at the moment, he has room to grow for the rest of this season and his team is sitting atop the standings at the midway point. Boss Jr. is sitting 3rd in the league in passing yards (1305) and is tied for 4th in TD (8). It's not out of the realm of possibility for him to get hot and go on a streak and improve some of those core statistics. He will have to cut down on the interceptions to really give himself an opportunity for the title, but he is surely in contention as things currently sit. He has been an effective game manager for the Mexican wrestlers, outside of the interceptions. Otherwise, he's had a solid competition percentage nearing 55, and his QBR isn't the worst, either. Boss Jr. is adjusting on the fly to his first consistent starting snaps since college. (240 words)
