The whole locker room has been buzzing on what occured during their last practice.
During the 7 v 7 drills, Chris Orosz threw a perfect pass over the middle to Ricky Maddox where only he can grab it. After catching the ball and beginning the process of turning up field, he didn't see Marcus Kane coming until it's too late.
Kane ran full force into the 6'6 255lb frame with all of the tenacity he could muster, effectively bringing down the much bigger target with what can be dubbed as a "Hit Stick" caliber strike. Although the pass was still completed, he made his presence felt with a vengeance. This play in particular created a domino effect as it sparked the whole team to levels that most NSFL teams can only dreams of.
"Yeah, Kane ain't messing around. Haha I already told him and the rest of the defense to come at me like I was literally a part of the opposing team, proud to see that they're making big strides."
-Ricky Maddox
After the hit, Maddox got up on his own power but he clutched onto his right shoulder as he heads to the sidelines. It was later revealed that he suffered a dislocated shoulder due to the hit. Luckily enough for Maddox, the medical team popped it back in and he was back within the next hour of practice to finish out the day.
"The injury is whatever. The shoulder is back in place and it's a little sore but I'll live. Kane is gonna be a force in this league, if I didn't get it from when I seen the highlight tapes, I got the experience full hand. He's legit as f*ck. I'll pray for the wide receivers, running backs and tight ends that enter his wheelhouse."
