The players of the Las Vegas Legion had all formally met each other once before, but now they could all show their real skill. All rookies were required to report to the training center first. Running backs Kyle Cobb and Ardie Savea each sought each other out and began talking. The 2 had a bit of a friendly rivalry going during the prospect games, but now they were teammates and we're quickly hitting it off. Soon, the GM's of the team showed up and started getting the field ready, while all the rookies did some laps. Immediately after everything was set, the rookies were called to the 50 yard line. In the distance they all heard a chant coming from the tunnel. It was Josh Bercovici coming out of the locker room with the rest of the veterans, and all of them were shouting "All Dick, No Lube!" When everyone had looked over from center field, Berc threw a bomb pass from the end zone into the group of rookies 50 yards away. Typical Newenglander ended up catching it. With that, everyone in the facility was ready to finally become a real team. Spirits were particularly high as Berc could finally show his true colors. He wasn't a rookie, but he was new to being named a true starter. Everyone was having a great time as a group. Scrimmages were starting all over the field, and the Legion were running on all cylinders. The preseason was only weeks away, and Las Vegas already had molded into a winning machine.
