I really appreciate you explaining this. I think I was immediately turned off by the wording, specifically the "create an ideal build" part. I assumed it meant ideal in general/an ideal for the prospect, but I now see it refers to an ideal build for the representative's team. As the wording stands, it seems like there'd be a lot of headaches figuring when/when not to enforce this rule, but as you said, it could certainly be reworded and re-proposed.
Yeah the proposed rule had great intentions but the specific wording was way too broad.
Quote:4. Add to tampering: No player who is eligible to be claimed by another team, either through waivers or during the offseason before a draft, may be a member of a war room of any DSFL team with the exception of current GMs. Any team or player found in violation of this rule will be considered to have tampered the player allowed to remain in the war room.
12-2
The way this is written makes it unclear whether ISFL GMs can stay in a DSFL war room while recreating. I assume that is not the intention. Since DSFL GMs aren't eligible to be claimed by other teams, I would suggest removing the entire "with the exception of current GMs" clause to improve clarity.
