The Tijuana Luchadores are in position to win their staggering 8th Ultimini Championship, and Mike Boss Jr may be the difference between a win and a loss. The Luchadores finished the season with a record of 6-7, but perhaps miraculously, this is enough for a playoff berth. Their QB is on the precipice of joining the big leagues, so this will be Boss Jr's final chance to make his mark on Luchadores history. Boss Jr is the ultimate game manager QB, finishing the season with 6 TD and 5 INT to go along with 1,974 passing yards. Boss Jr won't be alone out there, and Tijuana will need contributions from Mills in the backfield and McGrady down the field and getting open for his quarterback. The real standout this season has been the Luchadores defense. They've allowed the fewest points scored against them in conference this season, lead their conference against the pass, and are second in the conference against the run. As long as Boss Jr can take care of the ball, chances are that the defense will give them the opportunity to have the football in their hands with the game on the line and victory hanging in the balance. Tijuana has their prestige behind them and perhaps the ghosts of Luchadores past will help lead this team to the promised land for the 8th time in team history. (231)
