I was most excited to play Vincent Sharpei of the San Jose Sabercats. He was one of the best prospects in the S2 draft, and as a rushing linebacker, I knew that it would be a tough challenge if I were ever matched up against him, and I'll admit, there was some sense of pressure with that game being my first for the Wraiths. It's not just Sharpei from the Sabercats though. It's the whole offensive line. The Sabercats have one of the best offensive lines in the league, and they weren't going to let up, even in a preseason game. They were trying to prove what they could do, and we were too. The Sabercats also had another prospect that I was excited to play, in Jordan Yates. As the 11th pick in the S2 draft, I knew he would be performing to standards. It was a great learning experience for me, and I felt like I played some great football! To be honest, I was really most excited just to get a chance, and from one of the league's best teams, I was pretty fucking happy, especially after my performance. I firmly believe I'll learn from that game and become, well, hopefully great!
