I'm with Babs. For a player that doesn't have time/ability/motivation/whatever to write the full 400 words then posting in the thread should be counted as participation TPE. There's no need to be stingy about 1 TPE especially when the post heavily implied that all you had to do was post for 1 extra tep. It's frankly worrisome to see so many people saying some variation of "you should have known better" when obviously the post should have made it known clearly. The users are not all-knowing.

Yes but literally all he has to do for one tpe is “I’m thankful for the league” or something like that.

Why are you so worried about it? It's one TPE for one player. Being stingy about one very ambiguously defined TPE is questionable at best and you've been the biggest person campaigning against it in this thread that I've seen. For what?

He didn’t need 400 words. He didn’t even need 100 words, all he needed to do was write something on topic to the prompt.

So then define that in the post. I understand where you're coming from sidd and I don't mean to come at you as I doubt it was solely your decision, you were just the one who posted it. But if the post says "1 participation" then it means that they just have to post in the thread. If the post says "Participation must be on topic" then you avoid this altogether. Not giving the users who did just say "give participation tpe" their 1 TPE is like going back and changing the rules after it's already done and we should not be supporting that as a league.
