Here's how I feel about it. If we're going to be nitpicky enough to claim that the user has to follow a rule that isn't written down....then the user can be nitpicky enough to claim "1 participation tpe" is an expression of why they love the league.
That's if you're hellbent on enforcing standards you didnt set. I'm not a fan of enforcing rules you dont make first. When you separate the participation as its own tpe outside of whatever length they choose to write about....and you dont specify what participation looks like...I dont really see how you get to come back later and decide what counts as participation. You had the chance and responsibility to do that to start with. You chose not to. If nothing else the 1 tpe should be given as a reminder of the consequence of not setting the standard to start with.
Other than that tis been an interesting thread. A rookie making a name. An argument that isnt HO's fault yet. And one user admitting that when McDonalds attacked an old lady for something they'd already been told not to do his choice was to believe McDonalds.
