As one of the larger characters in the locker room, Tayshawn Crunk has taken up more of a leadership role in his second season, so when the Outlaws management were looking for volunteers to visit the local Children’s hospital, he happily obliged.
On the way, he stopped by a fancy dress shop and rented a Santa costume. As he walked into the hospital with his sacks full of gifts, he was greeted by security. Nobody recognised him behind the beard.
A short, awkward conversation later, he realised the beard was probably defeating the point of the hospital visit, so he stashed it and was allowed into the children’s ward.
Fortunately for him, the kids were huge Outlaws fans. He told the story of his two interception ISFL debut game at least twenty times, signed a bunch of shirts and handed out gifts.
“Why didn’t they send Jay Cue?” asked one nurse. Crunk smiled awkwardly, knowing Cue was at that moment attending the AA meeting where he would receive his six month chip.
After it was done, Crunk felt wholesome. This was an unfamiliar feeling to him, and he was not entirely comfortable with it, so he decided to keep the Santa suit on and head to the club, where he invited a series of much older girls to sit on his lap.
