Written Option: Your GM has asked everyone on the team to spend some time contributing to the community over the holidays. Where or how would your player spend their time volunteering? Would we find them in a children’s hospital meeting some kids, serving meals at the soup kitchen, or somewhere else? Would they volunteer alone, or with their teammates?
lavelle jr was brought to the ISFL hospital for kids who cant read good or follow basic rules and want to do other stuff good too facility, in which he had a major part. he volunteered on his own and spent most of his time trying to teach folks in the ISFL how to read stuff like the rulebook so that they could undserstand it. we went over other integral stuff too like how regression works as well as what is actually defined as harassment
we also went over stuff like why making a system of government is not only incredibly boring but also why it wouldnt work
lavelle jr then had a special session with gms where we went over the do's and donts of the isfl player system and explained how players arent your literal slaves and why they CAN and SHOULD reject your slave contracts, we also went through why AGENTS arent as bad as RACISTS or WOMAN BEATERS, a view some people still today in the ISFL believe is the truth.
we then finished up our fantastic day by explaining just exactly how and why people leave your team as well as the sort of behaviour that triggers it and who the fuck in the league is on the DND - DO NOT DRAFT list. in the end everybody learned from it as well as felt more together and we all warmly embraced
