If the General Manager of the Orange County Otters of the International Simulation Football League asked wide receiver Owen Holloway to spend time serving his community over the holidays, Holloway would turn his attention to one of the most in-need people in all of Orange County, California. Garfield Despacito, Jr. is reportedly broke and destitute after blowing all of his contract money on an outrageously expensive trainer who was almost certainly scamming him, as he showed up to camp in such bad shape that Holloway was handed the top spot on the wide receiver depth chart for the Otters. To help Despacito Jr. get out of the truly tragic hole that he finds himself in, Holloway is willing to give Despacito Jr. lessons on being a wide receiver, and even go through some of his workouts with him. Other Otters players have been pitching in however they can, with quarterback Suleiman Ramza even allowing Despacito to catch a league-leading nine touchdown receptions. It's the least that can be done with Despacito needing every little bit just to get by at this point. Fellow receiver Heath Evans has graciously taken a little bit of a back seat in the offense to Despacito, despite the considerable fanfare he brought with him when he signed with Orange County. Evans believes that it will all come back around to his own benefit in the end, so he's not even that charitable, to be honest. Holloway and Ramza are great guys though. Please keep Garfield in your thoughts and prayers as he tries to recover in these trying times.
