After a very respectable rookie season that saw the young running back amass about 550 yards on the ground and tied for the league lead in touchdowns you might think we would be talking about the next great tailback. That was before the Yellowstone Wraiths made a trade for the promising player and converted him to defence. The GM saw something in Levon and thought he might have the ability to be a defensive back and boy let me tell you that he was right! It was thought that he might be lining up opposite of rookie Marcus Kane as a safety but at 6'1" he has the size to cover some of the big wide outs while still being fast enough to cover the jitterbugs. As a playmaker on offence he was expected to run for key first downs and punch in touchdowns but on defence we expect him to come away with game saving interceptions and time pass defences. Wraiths QB Chris Orosz was quoted as saying:
"I don't know if I underestimate him because he wasn't drafted as a corner or what but I find he picks me off at least once a practice and the last few times I've been doing my best to not throw his way. He has a nose for picks and qbs better watch out."
Novel has the potential to be the best shutdown DB in the league starting now!
