Ladies and Gents,
There's a strong possibility of a spot opening up in The First NSFL Great War. Regardless of whether @Noble finally signs up for the game or not, I'd like to use this opportunity to officially begin sign-ups for the Second NSFL Great War.
Soooo... to enter yourself into the runnings to potentially fill the vacancy and/or sign-up for the Second Great War, all you need do is private message me a number between 1-1000. I have already RNG'd the winning number. The person who submits a number closest to the number I've already randomly chosen will fill the potential vacancy. There will be no bullshit Price is Right closest-but-not-exceeding rules; the closest number in either direction will win. To preclude any possibility of favoritism, I've already submitted the winning number to the upstanding, the incorruptible, that man-for-all-seasons: @Bzerkap.
This will run for at least 24 hours from now, but I'm hoping all the people below and anyone else happening into this thread will join up! The first people to respond will have right-of-first-refusal for the Second Great War so submit your number soon!
I'll maintain the page for the Second Great War and post picture and battle After-Action reports. Bragging rights for the winner(s) will be of course epic and incontrovertible. You'll need to make an account on Play Diplomacy to play, but that's not a big deal. Also, expect this game to last at least 2 weeks but probably closer to a month.
