I think that both kicking accuracy decreasing AND punts inside the 20 decreasing are for the same reason: longer FG attempts. In weeks 1-4 of last year, I'll bet there were fewer 50+ yd attempts than there will be this year. These longer FGs are harder to hit, leading to lower accuracy despite better kickers. In addition, teams at the 30 yard line are punting less as they try those FGs, leading to fewer short punts that land inside the 20. That would be something worth checking after Friday's games to see if that assessment holds water.
