(S2) - Weekend PT #4 - Drama!

In my opinion one of the most prevalent and well-known "dramas" in the entire NSFL is the Outlaws vs. Otters rivalry. Calm down, calm down, I hear all if you that are saying "The Otters aren't that good anymore, hell they weren't ever that goo...". Yes, yes, I know this. Still, the dichotomy of the two teams in the original Season 1 standings was massive. The Otters were the favorites of the NSFL while the Outlaws were thought to be the bottom of the barrel. The Pre-Season of S1 helped to reinforce this idea as the Outlaws did not win a single match in the Pre-Season. Yet, once the regular season started to role in and the Outlaws began to rack up wins, the narrative began to slowly shift.

Still, not everyone was totally accepting of the obvious happening in front of them, as members of the Outlaws would gloat after victories. This though, was a result of the lack of initial respect they received. This did this to equal out the disrespect they felt before even having a chance to prove themselves. Did battle a total of 5 times. The Outlaws won 3 times and the Otters won once in the regular season. The Otters win was the last win of the regular season which probably boosted their confidence going into the fifth game against the Outlaws. Alas, that was in vain as the Arizona Outlaws crushed them in the Playoffs.

So much fuel was poured into the fire of these vs games which resulted in people across the league to pay attention to the showdowns between these two monumentally different teams.
