This guy's bold prediction? Otters win it all.
Now I know what you're thinking; is that really bold? They're a playoff team so winning the Ultimate Cup shouldn't be out of the realm of possibility. But the fact is, the Otters are off to a slow start. Obviously this is only the beginning of the season defending Outlaws and rising Sabercats are both off to a hot start, whereas the Otters aren't even above .500 yet. So if the Otters are out to win it all, it's going to be a tough road, but here's how they do it:
1) Rely on the arm of Mike Boss: I know, I know. Mike Boss has been an interception machine when he's out on that field. But the fact is that man is a bona-fide winner. Something in his blood just screams potential. They need to prioritize the air game because, simply put, their running backs can only carry them so far.
2) Make more plays on defense: That defense is full of stars, but not a lot of plays are made compared to the Outlaws who are in a similar position. Something needs to change with that defensive play calling and I'll leave it to the coaches to find out.
And just like that, the Otters might be able to bring a trophy home.
